Tracy is an original Phoenix student who has been here since the gym opened. Tracy has graded through the system and has achieved a very high standard at all gradings, levels and tests throughout her years of dedicated and diligent training. Tracy is the highest graded Phoenix student – Level Six – and a Phoenix Muay Thai Coach.
Tracy has extensive competition experience and is a multiple ACT kickboxing champion and the first Phoenix student to pass the “10 competition fights” mark, with excellence. Tracy fought on fight shows from 1997 and has been in the fight game ever since. Tracy has competed at Kickboxing and Muay Thai and is a leader at the gym in training experience, competition experience and coaching across all Phoenix programs including children, beginners, intermediate, advanced classes and fighter development.
20 years on and Tracy still trains every day, coaches regularly and is involved with every members experience at Phoenix.
Tracy has been an Australian MTA junior team coach at the Junior World IFMA Championships and been an integral part of training juniors to win gold, silver and bronze medals at World Championship events. With 20 years training at Phoenix, Tracy is not the youngest member of the team but she is certainly the most formidable, committed and capable coach. She is an inspiration to every member and inspires all the females to be more than they can be. One of the first successful female fighters and Muay Thai coaches in Australia, she still leads the way in inspiring young girls to achieve at, in what used to be, a male dominated sport.
Tracy is also the business manager of Phoenix and manages all the important detail that keeps the gym open and running smoothly. Everything has a place and Tracy knows it. Even the Thai pads pack themselves up when they see her coming. Tracy spends her non Phoenix time at her farm looking after the livestock and her favourite pets. She treats all the farm animals as pets and loves caring for the animals. But, not nearly as much as she loves the whipper snipper and keeping everything neat. Tracy has the answer to anything Phoenix and is the quiet achiever behind every success Phoenix has.
